Mark Amato is a highly regarded figure in the Australian music industry, with a career spanning decades of performance, composition, and musical direction.
Beginning his journey as a teenager in the vibrant Australian music scene, Mark has collaborated with a wide range of respected artists both locally and internationally. His work has taken him across Europe, America, Canada, South Africa, The Middle East, Asia, the South Pacific, and New Zealand, contributing to a diverse array of musical projects.
Mark’s contributions to Australian television are extensive. He served as Musical Director for the final two years of Good Morning Australia (GMA), where his role extended beyond music to include regular on-air segments alongside host Bert Newton. More recently, he held the position of Musical Director for The Voice Kids Australia.
Equally at home in the studio, on stage, or in front of the camera, Mark’s versatility is a hallmark of his career. He composes, arranges, and produces music for film, television, and recording artists, while continuing to perform live, from intimate venues to large-scale arenas.
